Blake is a musician, performing songwriter, actor, and the producer/head-writer/co-creator of Take It With You… and he’s been teaching guitar for 20 years! Also bass, banjo, mandolin, songwriting/structure, and audio recording basics. He specializes in acoustic fingerstyle guitar in the folk/country/blues genres, but he’s happy to teach just about anything that you’re excited about because the fundamentals exist in all styles of music. And that is one of the many reasons music is amazing. It’s universal, full of joy, and makes your brain work in unique, wild, wonderful, ways. He can’t wait to see you at The Northerly!

Blake spent the bulk of his 20s touring and recording, and his 30s working more in the world of theater. He’s released 4 studio albums, performed over a thousand times, co-written 2 musicals, and has produced over 50 shows with Take It With You. In 2017 he received a Distinguished Artist Award from the Duluth City Council.
