The Northerly School for Music was born out of a desire to have a community space centered around learning music in Duluth…and a few things falling into place.

We, Kyle and Cooper, are owners of the Northerly and partners in music, life, and family. We live in Lakeside and feel so lucky to have a storefront next to our favorite coffee shop (among many other great businesses!).

We continue to grow our staff of teachers and we’re really proud of this team that makes the Northerly so great!

The Northerly is a laid-back, cozy place for music lessons. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, curl up on the couch as you wait for your lesson or your child’s lesson, and enjoy your time here!
